How to Deposit and Withdraw Bitcoin with Lightning Network

Lightning Network is a layer-2 payment protocol built on top of Bitcoin. It has revolutionized how we transact with Bitcoin by enabling instant transactions and almost zero fees.

This guide will help you how to deposit and withdraw Bitcoin from HeartBit wallet to Lightning Network enabled wallets and exchanges, or vice versa.

2.1. To Deposit Bitcoin to HeartBit Wallet

  • Buy Bitcoin from a wallet supporting fiat on-ramping or an exchange.
  • Open the HeartBit app.
  • Tap on ‘Wallet’ tab and select 'Deposit'.
  • Enter the amount of bitcoin(in satoshi) to deposit.
  • Scan the QR code or input the invoice address with or into your wallet or exchange to send the Satoshi. (You may need to select ‘Lightning Network’.)

2.2. To Withdraw Bitcoin from HeartBit Wallet

  • Open the HeartBit app.
  • Tap on ‘Wallet’ tab and select 'Withdraw'.
  • Enter the amount of bitcoin(in satoshi) to withdraw.
  • Scan the QR code or input the invoice address with or into your wallet or exchange to receive the Satoshi.
